NEW DELHI (AP) — India has indicated that it would continue buying oil from Russia despite threats by U.S. President Donald Trump. The Indian foreign ministry said its relationship with Russia was “steady and time-tested,” and should not be seen through the prism of a third country.

There is a growing sense in India that its leaders should not allow American policymaking to shape its choices on vital energy supplies.
