Michigan football has its 12th commitment in the 2026 class, and it is an important one as St. Louis (Missouri) De Smet Jesuit four-star defensive lineman Titan Davis announced for the Wolverines on Monday night.

Michigan football already had one defensive tackle in 2026 committed in Liberty Hill (Tx.) four-star Alister Vallejo pledged to the class when he chose the Wolverines over Notre Dame. But the maize and blue have been hoping for a (literal) big target to come into the fold. But it had some fierce competition from an SEC powerhouse.

Michigan football has a bit of a different identity from most other schools in college football. While many try to build high-flying offenses with defenses that simply can stave off the opponent, the Wolverines are all about the trenches on both sides of the ball.
