David Letterman recently slammed CBS and Skydance executives, calling them “goons” following the controversial cancellation of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

The surprise cancellation of “The Late Show” caught late night comedy talk shows flatfooted, with media giant Paramount citing financial concerns for its ending.

Sen. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., said, “If Paramount and CBS ended ‘The Late Show’ for political reasons, the public deserves to know. And deserves better.”
