SpaceX celebrated the 500th launch of a Falcon rocket last week with the Starlink 12-19 mission, which was also the company’s 70th launch of the year and its first for June. SpaceX achieved a total of 17 launches in May, with 16 Falcon 9 launches and the ninth test flight of Starship.

The spaceflight company released footage on Saturday showing the rocket’s upper stage -- called the Starship -- being moved toward the launchpad at SpaceX’s Starbase facility in Boca Chica, Texas. SpaceX is gearing up for the ninth test flight of its Starship megarocket.

Amazon's second fleet of internet satellites now has a target launch date. The stack of 27 satellites, part of Amazon's Project Kuiper constellation, is scheduled to launch on a United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket next Monday (June 16).

Project Kuiper aims to provide global broadband internet coverage through a network of low Earth orbit satellites.

Truist analysts anticipate that Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN)’s Project Kuiper, its emerging satellite internet offering, should become “incrementally more important” to the company’s growth story as it accelerates satellite launches and begins commercialization by the end of 2025.
