Bill Goldberg started his pro wrestling career in 1997. Initially, he thought his dreams had come true when he played in the NFL. But his legendary run in pro wrestling set the industry aflame, sending him on a journey he had never imagined.

In the final match of his illustrious career, Goldberg fell to world heavyweight champion Gunther at Saturday Night's Main Event in the WWE Hall of Famer's adopted hometown of Atlanta.

Overshadowing all of the in-ring action was what appeared to be a serious-looking knee injury to Seth Rollins, one of the most important and talented performers on WWE's roster.
