Red Bull’s advisor Helmut Marko is now “convinced” that Max Verstappen will remain with his Formula 1 team in 2026, despite previously expressing doubts over the Dutchman seeing out his contract.

Sebastian Vettel has responded to Helmut Marko’s suggestion that he could be the ideal successor to Marko’s role at Red Bull Racing. In a recent appearance on the Backstage Boxengasse podcast, Vettel acknowledged the unique position Marko holds within the team, stating, “I think there is only one Helmut. That is Helmut’s role.”
