Archbishops say Florida is infringing on freedom for religious expression for those detained at Alligator Alcatraz.

The flights operated by the Department of Homeland Security have transferred about 100 detainees from the immigration detention center to other countries, said Gov. Ron DeSantis, who expects that number to increase soon.

Gov. Ron DeSantis said hundreds of immigration detainees had departed a state-run detention center in the Everglades on planes, some for federal facilities, and others out of the country.
