An eyewitness travelling on the same road that Diogo Jota suffered a fatal car accident on has refuted claims that the Liverpool forward was speeding.
The funeral was held at the Igreja Matriz de Gondomar church in the town of Gondomar near Porto with images showing players and managers arriving for the ceremony.

The football club of Diogo Jota’s brother, Andre Silva, said they are “filled with pain” at their deaths. Both were killed in a car crash while travelling together in Spain and tributes have been flooding in for the two siblings.
