NEW YORK — Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, Paul Goldschmidt and Cody Bellinger, the Yankees’ big boppers with an MVP season (or two) on their major-league resume, sat together and talked it out after a horrific team hitting slump sunk to a franchise low in the eight-season Aaron Boone managerial reign.

The New York Yankees' offense is drifting toward uncharted territory — and not in a good way. The team tied a franchise record by getting shut out for the third straight game Tuesday night, when the Yankees went 0 for 10 with runners on base in a 4-0 loss to the Los Angeles Angels.

“It’s been a fight,’’ said Cody Bellinger, following the Yanks’ fifth straight defeat – their longest losing streak since August 2023. After being swept at Fenway Park, the AL East-leading Yanks (42-30) went 1-for-18 with runners in scoring position Monday against the Angels (35-37), then on Tuesday never got a runner to third base.
