On Wednesday at 11:14 a.m. a flood watch was released by the National Weather Service valid between 1 p.m. and 10 p.m. for Somerset and Bedford counties.
On Monday at 3:04 p.m. the NWS Newport/Morehead City NC released an updated flood watch in effect until Tuesday at 2 p.m. The watch is for Inland Onslow and Coastal Onslow as well as Greene, Duplin, Lenoir and Jones counties.

NORFOLK, Va. — After rounds of rain on Tuesday, more showers and thunderstorms are likely this afternoon and evening. Combined with an already saturated ground, today's wet weather could once again result in flooding from heavy downpours.

Cities on the east coast of Miami-Dade and Broward are at moderate risk of excessive rainfall, according to the National Weather Service in Miami. Forecasters expect anywhere from 3 to 6 inches of rain in the region due to Monday’s downpour.
