A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 11:37 p.m. EDT (0337 GMT on July 30) rom Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. After a nine minute climb into space, the 28 Starlink broadband internet satellites ( group 10-29) were on track to be deployed into their intended orbit.

SpaceX's Starlink satellite network was back up and running on Friday as engineers hunted for the root cause of one of its biggest international outages the night before, a rare disruption for the powerful internet system set off by an internal software failure.

Those waiting for the next rocket launch are in luck, as SpaceX plans to launch a Falcon 9 as soon as late Tuesday night. SpaceX has confirmed it plans to launch the Starlink 10-29 mission July 29 from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
